Molecular electronics -> organic electronics


When molecular electronics, the modern name of 'quantum physics', that is also important in nanotechnology, application of graphene etc. 'enters the body' it is often called organic electronics.

The focus remains the same: look at an exact way at neural processes.

Characteristic of molecular is that the MOLECULES take the role of what we formerly know: components of a electrical circuit - as a transistor!

Components of electronic circuit


Original components of an electric circuit were easy to 'calculate through' - normal electronic mathematics applies.

When cells and molecules can be represented by the same components, all becomes very 'mathematifiable' and exact.

Testing is no more a 'hypothesis', but a calculation, a projection that than has to be compared to reality, to be learned from.

Use neurons to make computers!


Instead of seeing neurons as mathematifieble electronic components, one can reverse the whole vision and say: let us use BIOLOGICAL neurons to build real computers! These are 'quantum bit' computers, and they are already partly in use in US airforce.

Quantumbits have more than 2 states, and so surpass 'digital'. A disadvantage remains the sensitivity for temperature.
